Three Olympic Medalists, Myriad of World-Class Athletes Take the Sand September 4-6 Cincinnati, OH -- August 27, 2009 – The 14th stop on the 16 city AVP Crocs Tour makes its way to Mason this Labor Day weekend, with it bringing 16 teams of each gender consisting of the best professional beach volleyball players in the world. Headlining the list of world-class athletes is two-time Olympic gold medalist Kerri Walsh, 2008 Olympic gold medalists Phil Dalhausser and Todd Rogers, Beijing Olympians Nicole Branagh, Elaine Youngs, Jake Gibb and Sean Rosenthal, as well as 2009 World Champions Jen Kessy and April Ross. AVP Crocs Tour stars Rachel Wacholder Scott, Sean Scott, John Hyden and Angie Akers, among others, will also take to the sand in Mason. This is the fifth year the AVP Crocs Tournament of Champions has played in Mason, and promises to be the most star-studded one yet.
