Tracesmart Corporate, has once again secured a major contract within the pensions industry as Aon Consulting UK have awarded the Cardiff based data specialists a preferred supplier agreement for their proprietary existence and tracing services. The 3-year agreement will allow the third party administrator to screen their client data against vital consumer information; permitting Aon Consulting to continuously maintain their client records in order to maximise the impact of scheme communication projects, ensure liabilities are correctly valued and to highlight any fraudulent activity.
Aon Consulting is part of Aon Consulting Worldwide; an award winning employee benefits consulting business that assists organisations in improving the performance of their benefits and rewards programs. Aon have provided pension administration services to the industry for nearly 60 years.
Ian Bloxham, Director of Client Relationships and Development for Aon Consulting said; "When you consider that 1 in 10 people move address each year it is understandable that many pension schemes will have lost contact with some of their deferred members, creating significant problems such as incorrect benefit payments and inaccurate liability valuations."
"Our partnership with Tracesmart allows us to help our clients to validate the address information that we hold on their behalf, locating members that they have lost contact with, and just as importantly, ensuring that contact is not lost again in the future."
Tracesmart Corporate provides a broad spectrum of data intelligence services to the financial sector, including one of the UK's leading facilities to trace people; a multi-tiered consumer tracing solution utilised by a growing number of FTSE100 companies. Tracesmart is also one of a small group of companies to receive a weekly feed of current UK Death Registration Information from the General Register Office (GRO), which the company uses to enhance the mortality screening functions of its anti-fraud services. The approximate 12,000 deaths recorded per week in the UK are added to Tracesmart's vast accumulated consumer data universe, which helps drive the company's proprietary service 'Existence Alert'. This service, in essence, delivers a data cleansing process which identifies deceased individuals and 'gone aways' (people that move home without notifying a change of address) at the earliest possible moment, allowing appropriate action to be taken to mitigate risk.
Tracesmart's Managing Director, Mike Trezise remarked, "Tracesmart's combined existence checks and tracing services goes from strength to strength. Understanding the pension industry's requirements is fundamental to our success; we are now a major player in this sector. Our services will deliver significant benefits to Aon and inevitably, their clients and members. We look forward to a long and productive partnership."
