Holland new Chrysler dealer, VanAndel CJ, has been enjoying increased sales. This Holland used Chrysler dealer benefitted from Chrysler’s biggest monthly gain since 2005. This gain is great news and a great recovery since Chrysler entered Chapter 11 just over a year ago. Chrysler had a $143 million operating profit in the first quarter of this year.
Consumer confidence and improvements in the economy led to the 25 percent increase in sales as compared to last April. In actual numbers, Chrysler sold 95,703 vehicles in April 2010 and only 76,682 vehicles in April 2009. There has been a steady month over month increase in sales. April deliveries were 3 percent higher than they were in March.
This is the best year over year sales increase in about five years. Fred Diaz, Lead Sales Executive for the Sales Organization, stated that these sales increases show Chrysler’s determination and indicate that the company is heading in the right direction and gaining momentum. Diaz stated, “We aren’t resting on this month’s results. We are hungry to continue building on the sales improvements – we are just getting started.”
Holland new Chrysler dealer, VanAndel CJ, expects that Chrysler will continue on this path of rebounding into next year. There are a lot of new vehicles which are expected to sell well. These models include an all new 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and new versions of the Dodge Charger, Durango, and Chrysler 300. The first Fiat product, the 500 mini car, will be launched by the end of the year. Your Holland used Chrysler dealer is looking forward to offering these new choices to its customers.
