2.   Mercury Side-Effects: Skin bleaching creams that contain mercury are quite poisonous & the mercury in such creams can collect in your body cells causing more harm. Some cases of liver damage as well as kidney failures have in the past been attributed to high mercury concentration in the human body.

3.   Skin bleaching creams also cause harm to unborn and breastfeeding babies and hence aren’t recommended to mothers in these conditions.

4.   Carcinogenic/Mineral Oil: This ingredient causes extreme skin dryness and is responsible for premature aging.
