Based on Marvell’s PXA270 processor, this handheld RFID reader is an ideal tool for workforce deployment in the warehouse, on the manufacturing line or anywhere highly accurate asset tracking is required. The reader runs under Microsoft Windows’ CE 6.0 operating system and includes integrated mobile computing technology such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPRS for a wide variety of application solutions. The reader offers four different configurations for selection: a Basic Model, Software Developer Model, Wi-Fi Model, and GSM Model. This compact high frequency RFID reader, model 243003, features 128MB SRAM and128MB internal FLASH memories and a user accessible SD card slot for additional mass storage. It is configured with either a 26 key or a 41 key alpha-numeric keypad and can be further optionally tailored to a specific application. The reader provides audio feedback, smart navigation and barcode scanning. An optional rechargeable 4000mAh battery enables lengthy field operation. In addition, the reader provides an IP65 protection rating and is encapsulated within an ABS/Polycarbonate blend plastic case which offers extreme resistance to environmental stresses and a wide variety of chemical substances.
