San Diego, CA, March 10, 2011 -- A Garden of Earthly Delights awaits at the next Art After Dark at the Oceanside Museum of Art (OMA), featuring a live installation by local artist Rebecca Goodman. The exhibition is inspired by both the infamous Hieronymus Bosch painting of the erotic and strange interactions of people and animals, and the elegant black and white botanical photos of Imogen Cunningham on display in the museum, the evening will overload the senses with a night of visual and sensory stimulation.

Goodman’s live installation is inspired by the night’s theme that incorporates sculpture, dance, live exotic birds, and fire. San Diego Fine Art Society has co-commissioned the installation as part of Goodman’s participation in the Artist Mentor Program designed to teach professional artists about the art market, their role in it, and how to achieve their artistic visions.
