UPES organized energy law moot court competition

26th April, 2012, Dehradun: University of petroleum and energy studies organized 2nd Dr. Paras Diwan Memorial National Energy Law Moot Court Competition on 6th, 7th & 8th April 2012. The university is known for offering a number of courses in areas such as law, oil&gas, infrastructure, power and much more.

Vice chancellor, University of petroleum and energy studies, shares, “Each year, we organize this competition for our students. This aims at getting a practical exposure to our students. The main objective lies in offering learning in abundance. Like any other year, this year too we had a successful moot court competition. Our students took active participation. With each passing year, we are coming across more and more spontaneous participation. This way,we are coming to know about the talent of many students. Each nitty gritty was taken into consideration and well implemented. We appreciate the talents of the students and the faculty members as well.”

The moot competition took place at the university in Dehradun and was conducted in a synchronized manner. All the students were well prepared and did their part at best. Students were highly excited and were making sure that the moot competition was flowing in the right direction. Moot companies were created such as Indoi Oil Corporation Ltd., Hexxon Petroleum Corporation Ltd. And Bright Petroleum Corporation Ltd.
