Digital River Enhances its E-Commerce Platform to Support Growth in its Sales Network
Digital River, Inc. ( NASDAQ:DRIV ), a global leader in e-commerce outsourcing, today announced it has made enhancements to its e-commerce platform to support continued growth in the Digital River Sales Network. The company`s ongoing development efforts offer online retailers more advanced marketing opportunities and merchandising capabilities to increase customer acquisition and retention, and boost online revenue through the sales of downloadable software, game and e-book titles.
Through an improved data delivery system and site flow, online retailers now can more efficiently import Digital River`s downloadable catalog into their online systems so it can be more effectively marketed and sold alongside their complementary product lines. The integrated approach enables purchases of digital and physical products to take place through a single shopping cart and offers end users all the conveniences of a one-stop shopping experience. To increase the number of products available for sale and delivery through its online sales channels, Digital River intends to continue adding digital software, game and e-book titles to its downloadable catalog. Today, Digital River supports and manages one of the largest digital catalogs in the world.
